Dallas, TX March 25, 2004 -- Michael Richardson is described as one of a kind by all who know him and those who hear him speak. A true student of life, Richardson literally came back from the dead and followed a lifes path that no one could have foreseen. When he speaks about tapping into ones potential, he shows people what is possible for them and the importance of life, choices and relationships. Richardson speaks with a passion about the joys of life. He also speaks from a wheelchair.

After rolling a jeep three times to avoid collision with a deer, the paramedics simply covered him with a sheet before attending to the passengers. He not only lived, five weeks later he was in riding therapy, back to his beloved horses.

Richardson has been on horseback all of his life and is a horse trainer by trade. He not only connects with horses on a very deep level, he also teaches owners how to connect on that level. From The Education Center for Horses and Human, his training center in Decatur, Texas, to facilities throughout the United States and abroad, Richardson teaches Horsemanship, a method developed by him that teaches one to learn from the horse instead of seeing oneself as the only one in charge. The program is based on mutual respect, patience, and positive non-threatening communication.

After request upon request to speak to the general public, Richardson now puts that same method to use when he speaks to his audiences about the challenges of life. Whether speaking to the audience from horseback or a stage, Richardson speaks to you and when the applause has died down, you know that something deep inside will never again be the same.

Richardson is a frequent speaker of the Texas Governors Committee for People with Disabilities and has been featured in both print and television. He is available for events, seminars, meetings and conventions. He is a favored son of Ft. Worth, Texas.
